Samantha Rohr
Cohort Leader
Samantha Rohr is an dedicated educator and the Cohort Leader at The Cool Cooperative, where she spearheads student programming and creative development. Her passion for mentorship began during her time at Northwestern State University of Louisiana, where she started working with students while completing her degree in Musical Theater Performance, Technical Theater Design, and Stage Management. This extensive background in both performance and production allowed her to transition seamlessly into the classroom, where she has spent years supporting students in bringing their unique visions to life.
Samantha’s journey into filmmaking was sparked by a student’s ambition to enter Film Prize Junior. Together, they produced an inspired short film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet in just a semester and a half—an experience so invigorating it led her to join The Cool Cooperative. Today, Samantha is committed to helping students realize the transformative power of storytelling and creativity. By fostering an environment of collaboration, she helps her students build the professional connections and lifelong friendships that will support them far into the future. Outside of the studio, Samantha is a proud aunt, a painter, and a new cat mom to her sweet baby Louie.
